My last day at college is a day which I cannot forget in my life. The period of two years which 1 spent at the college is a golden period of my life. During this period, I formed new friendships.
I had completed two years. I'was then to take the
Intermediate Examination. A day was fixed to fill in the Admission Forms and to pay the dues. I reached the college well before the college time. A number of my class-fellows were also present in the college. All appeared to be full of high hopes
about the Examination, We had a very good talk with one another. My feelings were, at that time, a mixture of joys and sorrows. I was happy because. Had completed a part of my studies. I was sad because I was parting with my friends. In the meantime, one of the professors came to guide us
to fill in the Admission Forms. He asked us to assemble in the classroom.-In the classroom, I remembered how often I felt myself bored there ; how I disliked some of the teachers ; how I liked some of the teachers ; and how one day I was asked by a professor to leave the classroom for creating disturbance. All these things now related to the past. We filled in the Admission Forms. Later on, we stood in a long row to deposit the dues. We were being treated like guests by the teachers and the office staff of the college. When I-paid my dues, I felt as if the bond of association with the college had been cut off. My heart sank. A cloud of sadness overcame me.Before returning home, I had a last view of the college. First, I went to the common room. It was as busy and noisy as ever before. The only, difference was that I was a stranger.
In the afternoon of that day, the First-Year students had also arranged a farewell party in honor of the out-going Second-Year students. We thanked our teachers and the First Year students. They bade us farewell with. there was mixture of joy and sadness.
